admin Edward Toth, 46 died and Heather his 17-year-old daughter was injured when their experimental single-engine aircraft crashed into Lake Anna in Louisa County, Va. Sunday afternoon.
Heather Toth and his father were attempting to take off in a two-seat Maxair Drifter Ultralight airplane when it lost power and crashed into the lake about 100 yards off the shoreline.
Toth owned the airplane, which is listed as “experimental” because such aircraft are often built from homemade kits.
