Family Guy is an American animated television sitcom. The series centers on the Griffins, a dysfunctional family consisting of parents Peter and Lois; their children Meg, Chris, and Stewie; and their pet dog Brian. The show uses frequent cutaway gags, often in the form of tangential vignettes which parody American culture.

Peter is a fat man who does not talk much. He is lecherous but innocent and gluttonous. His wife Lois was born in a noble family but she is willing to follow a strange fat husband. She seems to be a normal good wife and devoted mother in the series but not normal at all actually. Peter’s eldest son Chris is an innocent mentally retarded child. Eldest daughter Megan is the most normal character in this sitcom. However, she has a plain face and wears a pair of glasses, and thus she becomes the person upon whom the joke is played by her families and schoolmates. She is a teenage literary girl who is desperate for love. Little son Stewie is the most lovely in the series. His rugby-shaped head is full of desire of conquering the world. He tries to assassinate his mother but always fails. A super scientist, politician and playboy and a child with diaper as well. Brain is a lovely and mature white dog. It could be said to be the most normal male (if dog would count) in Family Guy.

In short, Family Guy is an excellent American classical talk-show program. If you like American humor, you could not miss this wonderful sitcom.
