The HTC Corporation has humbly acknowledged the adulation it is currently receiving from all quarters after the ABI Research
findings was reconfirmed by its Chairman recently. The outcome discloses more specifically what has been known all along. That HTC phones are doing pretty well in recent years. And Samsung phones are no exception either. In fact, the Samsung smartphones are proving a major pain for even the Apple iPhones in recent times.
HTC Corporation has been able to raise the sales of its handsets from three million units in the second quarter of 2009 to a staggering 5.5 million units in the second quarter of 2010. This is what ABI Research came up with. Add to this whatever sales that HTC phones can notch up in the third and fourth quarter of 2010, the ultimate figure for this greatly successful year can be touching the sky, literally speaking.
It is worthwhile remembering here that these figures reflect the hold HTC phones have over the entire European continent as well as Asia and merely just UK. HTC Legend, HTC Desire, HTC HD2, HTC Wildfire, HTC Smart, HTC Evo 4G, HTC HD3, HTC Desire HD, HTC Desire Z all now household names here.
The South Korean mobile phone maker recently created a stir by claiming that the display technology used in its Samsung Galaxy S is far superior technically to the Retina Vision technology found in the Apple iPhone 4.0. As if this challenge was not enough, the about to the released Samsung Galaxy Tab is raking in quite a bit of high praise for technically being capable of posing a serious threat to the Apple iPads.
And why not? After all, technical experts from The Telegraph and BBC have found the Samsung mobile computer tablet better in various aspects like memory, camera devices, etc than the Apple iPads.
Not only are the Galaxy series of phone handsets proving a major thorn in the flesh of rival devices but other Samsung phones such as the Samsung Tocco Lite, Samsung S5620 Monte, Samsung Omni, Samsung S8599 Wave all are found to be possessing superlative high-end smartphone features, both hardware and software.
