The former New York Giants player was taken into custody by the Town of Ramapo police in the early hours of Thursday.

Town of Ramapo Supervisor Christopher St. Lawrence also said that investigators found Lawrence Taylor asleep inside the room when they first arrived to the hotel.

Cops recovered a condom as well as other physical evidence when they took Taylor into custody – but found NO DRUGS or paraphernalia at the scene.

Police say the accuser is only 16 years old, that she was reported as a “runaway” from the Bronx back in March, and was under the control of a pimp.

Cops say the accuser had a “nasty” black eye that looked to be “fresh,” though it’s unclear who attacked her or if it’s connected with the Lawrence Taylor incident.

In addition to charges filed against Lawrence Taylor, the pimp was arrested on charges of unlawful imprisonment, assault and endangering the welfare of a minor.

In addition, the lender plan “would increase direct spending by about $4 billion over the 2010-2019 period” in other areas, said the CBO in a letter to Representative George Miller, Democratic chairman of the House education committee.

Committee spokeswoman Rachel Racusen said: “This shows that the Obama administration’s student loan proposal is the superior plan for saving taxpayers dollars.”

But Sallie Mae spokeswoman Martha Holler said: “This CBO score confirms that mandatory savings of $87 billion are achievable through” both plans.

Other student loan groups involved in the counter-proposal include Student Loan Corp, SunTrust Banks and Nelnet Inc.

Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will hold a news conference on Tuesday to urge passage of the Obama bill.

The education committee in July approved the Obama bill, which would shut down the $55 billion Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) and shift most student lending into a program run by the Education Department.

The bill is expected to be approved by the House, where Democrats hold a substantial majority, analysts said. That would send it on to the more closely-divided Senate.

It was reported that several members of The Vampire Diaries TV series landed behind bars after a photo shoot on a bridge in Georgia. Motorists prompted to call police.

Last month, drivers reported four women dangling off the side of the bridge and flashing them in Forsyth, about 60 miles south of Atlanta. Nina Dobrev, Sara Canning, Kayla Ewell and Candice Accola, were charged with disorderly conduct on Aug. 22 and were released on bond.

Authorities say a man named Tyler Shields told them he was a photographer shooting pictures for the show. A deputy checked the cameras and found numerous photographs of the women hanging from, sitting on and straddling the bridge. He was also charged.

However, the show’s publicist, Pam Morrison, declined to comment.

The Vampire Diaries TV series premiers  September 10,  on the CW Network.

The first single for ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ soundtrack has officially been confirmed, according to ‘Twilight’ author Stephenie Meyer’s blog.

Indie band Death Cab for Cutie — fronted by Ben Gibbard, fiancee to actress Zooey Deschanel — has written a song exclusively for the vampire sequel titled “Meet Me On the Equinox” and will debut the single live at the MTV VMA Awards on September 13, music Web site Pitchfork.com reports.

Meyer’s posted a statement from the Seattle based band on her blog describing the single: “We are very excited to be a part of this amazing series of novels set in our own backyard. It just seemed a perfect synergy that a band from the Northwest would create a song for a series of novels set in the Northwest.

We wrote ‘Meet Me On the Equinox’ to reflect the celestial themes and motifs that run throughout the ‘Twilight’ series and we wanted to capture that desperate feeling of endings and beginnings that so strongly affect the main characters. This song marks the first attempt that Death Cab for Cutie has ever made at contributing new, unreleased material for a film and we are proud to be a part of the ‘Twilight’ legacy.”

According to Pitchfork, ‘New Moon’ director Chris Weitz has said Thom Yorke of Radiohead and Bon Iver have also written songs for the film’s soundtrack. ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ is scheduled to hit theaters November 20.

The nuptials was announced  after the king received approval from the Swedish government, no date has yet been set for the wedding.

Heather Toth and his father were attempting to take off in a two-seat Maxair Drifter Ultralight airplane when it lost power and crashed into the lake about 100 yards off the shoreline.

Toth owned the airplane, which is listed as “experimental” because such aircraft are often built from homemade kits.

The town of 10,000 people has been sealed off and a team of experts was sent to the area, the local health bureau warned anyone with a cough or fever who visited the town since mid-July should seek treatment at a hospital.

Pneumonic plague is spread through the air and can be passed from person to person through coughing, according to the World Health Organization. It is caused by the same bacteria that occurs in bubonic plague — the Black Death that killed an estimated 25 million people in Europe during the Middle Ages. While bubonic plague which is usually transmitted by flea bite can be treated with antibiotics if diagnosed early, pneumonic plague is one of the deadliest infectious diseases. According to the WHO, humans can die within 24 hours of infection.
