Two Moons 2010. A rumor is spreading thru emails about two moons 2010. The rumor says that in August two thousand and three Mars came so close to our earth that it appeared on the sky like another moon. The two moons 2010 email states that there would be two moons on August 27, 2010. It also states that Mars shall be within a particular distance from the earth which is quite close while considering planets. A quite similar even took place in the year two thousand and five and the year two thousand and seven, but in both the cases Mars was not as close to the earth as it came in 2003. In the coming years mars won’t be as close to the earth as it was in 2003 until 2018.

Scoops today: Retired American football icon Lawrence Taylor has been arrested and charged with the rape following an incident with a minor at a New York hotel on Thursday.

The former New York Giants player was taken into custody by the Town of Ramapo police in the early hours of Thursday.

Town of Ramapo Supervisor Christopher St. Lawrence also said that investigators found Lawrence Taylor asleep inside the room when they first arrived to the hotel.

Cops recovered a condom as well as other physical evidence when they took Taylor into custody – but found NO DRUGS or paraphernalia at the scene.

Police say the accuser is only 16 years old, that she was reported as a “runaway” from the Bronx back in March, and was under the control of a pimp.

Cops say the accuser had a “nasty” black eye that looked to be “fresh,” though it’s unclear who attacked her or if it’s connected with the Lawrence Taylor incident.

In addition to charges filed against Lawrence Taylor, the pimp was arrested on charges of unlawful imprisonment, assault and endangering the welfare of a minor.

A strong earthquake with a magnitude of 7.0 on the Richter scale shook Haiti on Tuesday, causing several buildings to collapse in the Western hemisphere’s poorest nation and leading to an unknown number of fatalities, officials and witnesses said.

The earthquake was centered just 10 miles southwest of the crowded and impoverished capital of Port-au-Prince. Making matters worse, the earthquake was relatively shallow at a depth of five miles, the U.S. Geological Survey said. Shallow earthquakes can cause more damage.

Within minutes of the original tremor, two aftershocks rolled through the area, measuring 5.9 and 5.5 on the Richter scale.

A tsunami warning has been issued for a number of nearby Carribean countries including Jamaica, the Bahamas and Cuba.

SEOUL, South Korea — A woman in South Korea who tried to pass the written exam for a driver’s license with near-daily attempts since April 2005 has finally succeeded on her 950th time. The aspiring driver spent more than 5 million won ($4,200) in application fees, but until now had failed to score the minimum 60 out of a possible 100 points needed to get behind the wheel for a driving test.
