Congratulations to Raeceen Woolford!  She was crowned Miss Hawaii 2009 Saturday night at Hawaii Convention Center.

Woolford, a 2003 `Iolani graduate, was a five-year player for the University of Hawaii Women’s Volleyball team as a defensive specialist and graduated with a degree in Health Studies. She hopes to obtain a Medical Doctorate  and become a physician someday.

Raeceen Woolford will represent Hawaii at Miss America in January 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Woolford won over $500,000 in scholarship awards and prizes.
